It would be great if I could initialize Reason without the demo song loading, haveing to start a new reason project, then close the demo.

Any help?

under menu 'edit', you can find an option called 'preferences'. When you click that, you will see a new window.

There you can select which template it opens (by default), or use an empty template instead, or select a different template.
