| You use reaon refills within Reason's browser and that's where you open them. You can open refills and make refill files with various tools for reason also such as the Refill Packer, Refill Loader and refill loader, you just need to know where to find these files. Oh yeah you can chop and screw stuff in Recycle (another program propellerhead makes) and open them in reason. I've never personally used recycle though. |

I don't see any other reason of why the reason file isn't opening other than it being corrupted. Now did you buy this cd or....well you know. Because if you got it that way the file isn't guaranteed to work.

well i have both. i have the adapted version that only allows you to apply the sample refill. and i have well you know and i cant get that to open either. so i came to the conclusion it was something i was doing because the first one should work without any issue. Its obviously something my dumb ass is doing. you put th .rfl file into the reason folder and it should be recognized thats what i was taught it may be wrong but thats all i know. once there i have no idea where to go to install them for example i have the taste fill sample refill and i also have the funkmaster refill, they are recognized as reason files also because it puts the little reason symbol in front of them. If i am being a retard please forgive me i am very interested in learning evrything i can the right way.

Why don't you try: "Create device by browsing patches" contextual menu?, maybe you're choosing wrong instrument to open them. Mac: ctrl+click in an empty place of rack or Win (Right click i guess) and then choose: Create device by browsing patches. In the browser, go to the refill folder and maybe it will display its contents, pick whatever you want and, probably, something will appear in the rack. Did it work? Greets. Darbo |
