Default Software grrrr

Hey there.

Im new too all this software stuff, and i will be honest, it breaks me. Nothing seems to work and I think on top of that i am too impatient. I have always used hard ware (mpc) to make beats and a multitracker to record stuff and now I decided to try my hand at Reason. The thing is this.....I have connected an mpd to my mac, all fine in Garage band, however when I open reason, add a redrum track, all fine then I try an add something else, a sample for example on dr rex. Now I can only play the track i added first (redrum), there is a signal showing midi messages are being sent but no sound from dr rex. This works in any way you try to add add things, first track works second track gets no sound. Perhaps I should just stick to my hardware but I want to experement with new things. Please help

Joe

It's depending on which note numbers you're triggering Reason with. You'll find more about this in the manual & the getting started book. Cheers!
