I recently started working with Logic 9, after never experiencing any problem at all with Reason 4 and Cubase over several years.
With Logic, Reason instruments will be reponding fine, then very often when I do any slight operation in Logic, such as edit or even just mute a region, or go into record (none of these even on a Rewire Reason track), certain Reason instrument notes will stick, and the part for that instrument will go quite crazy. I am mostly using just Subtractor at the moment (for bass) and it it is very annoying, as one note sticks throughout, making part unintelligible as all other notes are affected: because of its monophonic all other notes continuously revert to the stuck note. I mostly notice it with Subtractor, but I'm pretty certain other instruments such as NN-XT are affected too. Reason is almost unusable with Logic because of this.
I tried Reason support with this question, but they just suggested making sure I had Reason 4.01 (which I have) and to try switching from "Live" to Playblack" mode for Rewire in Logic prefs, which had no effect, and I find "playback" mode too slow anyway. They said they had heard of problem before but didn't have a solution.
Anyone else experienced this, or have ideas, as I fear I must consider ditching Reason altogether because of this.
I'm on a fast MacPro. I can't compare to previous versions of Logic, which I never had.
