| I've searched the forum and haven't found anything to help me with my issue. So here it is: I want to take a drum pattern I've already composed in reason and put it following another drum pattern I made. In other words, have a beat for the verse but I also have a different beat for the chorus and I can't figure out how to just take these two beats and playing them in a sequential order without all of the patterns sounding off at once. I tried having two reddrum drum machines (copies of each other) and I've also tried to do this using one reddrum by putting the 2 different patterns on "pattern 1" and the "pattern 2" and then using the lanes within that track. This must be the simplest most basic thing I could expect a software package to do and still i can't figure it out. Please help and Thankyou I attached screen captures to show the two situations peace, pete |

You have to copy the patterns to the track. Right click on the redrum and select copy pattern to track. Then disable the "enable pattern section" button on the redrum.

Or automate the ReDrum, by recording pattern changes on the fly.
