| I'm having a problem where my slices have a weird echo at the end of them in dr rex. these are slices made in recycle and the echo does not happen in recycle. i have tried changing ALL the settings in Dr Rex and cannot get rid of it. Anyone have any idea whet's going on? Thanks! |

i had this problem when i was using rex loops i made , i thought i could just make rex loops in recycle and play them at any tempo in reason but i had to have the reason song at the same tempo as my loops i had made or they would not loop properly , there is a way of making loops that will play at any tempo but im no expert , hopefully someone else can answer this

Fuss around with the decay on the individual slices and you may be able to get it right. It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure it's the same setting when making the loops in recycle for different tempos.

Thanks for the advice, not sure what you mean by the decay of the slice. i turned the decay all the way up and back to Zero and no difference. I'm getting this dull thumping noise when i load any Rex Files into Dr. Rex or even Sonars Dropzone, and it's not just recycle loops its even rex paks i've purchased from companies like Big Fish. I've tried everything but can't get rid of this noise.

Can you upload an rns file where you have this happening? I think I'll have to see it to figure out exactly what's going on, because I cant think of any reason why out of the box rex loops would be doing this

.rns: reason song file. when you save a song, that's the format. when you reply to a thread scroll down a bit and there's a Manage Attachments button, that's where you can upload files. In order to upload something other than an image it has to be compressed into a zip file.
