Default How do you guys convert your wavs to mp3s with minimal quality lose?

For the longest time I've been exporting as 44100/16 and then using Acid Pro to convert it to 320kb...but I've been noticing a bit of quality lose and a lot of lose in volume.

So I was wondering if there's another way of doing it...I have a mac now so I can't even use Acid Pro anymore (so any program suggestions would be greatly appreciated as well).

Cheers.

Well , ive been told to export into the highest settings (480000/24) ... , but i'm rewiring into Cubase ... ( Could be a placebo effect , but i can hear the difference between exporting out of Reason or Cubase ....)

Well , i can recommend to do the same ... , it takes a bit of your time to learn .. , but you will hear Quality differences ...

Greetzzzzzzzzzz

and off course good luck !!
