| I can't use a lot Reason Record. If I loaded a simple MIDI file and try to play it, I hear a lot of "pop" on my speaker (these pops are not present when I save a fie as a Wave file) and suddenly I have a message "This computer is too slow" and Record stops. Sometimes everythings is OK, sometimes no. I have a Dell Server with Intel XEON CPU 3.2GHz, 2MB RAM. Running on Windows XP SP2. No other programs are running when I run Reason record (no antivirus, no firewall, not connected to a network or Internet, etc...). My computer is connected to a Tascam FW-1885. Do you have any idea what's happen? |

damn your english is bad. but you need more RAM. What is Reason record? haha your post is really confusing but considering your specs its a RAM problem. I wish someone would answer my post as fast as i got to yours...this forum is kind of a waste considering how many topics have 0 replies... i'll have better luck in my other production forum |

Your answer was really insulting and brutal. First, Reason Record is the new software from Propellerhead... Second, my first language is French. But I can speak and read 4 languages. What about you? |

Hi ... Just a quick question ... do you run the beta ? (or retail ?) .. And about your English ... so what.... it aint my first language as well , nor my second or my third ... , at least i try to ... and so do you ... IF you run the beta , thats a known "problem" ... , but if you run the retail version , you should check out the ASIO settings ... maybe a buffer problem ? Good luck ! Greetzzz from the Netherlands ! Remy aka IGNORED (Running on a AMD3800+ 64bit , 2GB mem , XPpro SP3 , and rewiring Reason into Cubase 5) PS that 2MB ram mem , must be 2GB ? , cos then i found your problem i think :P) |
