| My problem is that I have sound in Reason but not in any other programs (for example Firefox, Windows media player) but wierdly enough I do in computer games like Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising. When Reason is'nt working all other programs produce sound fine. This problem first occured when I installed my correct sound card drivers (it's intregated, before it used Microsoft's). I did it in order get my latency down in reason from 96ms to 5ms with Asio4all v2. Note: if i don't use asio4all all other programs work fine and reason too, but latency suffers. Asio4all did'nt work before i installed correct sound card drivers, no sound. I use: Windows 7 64bit Reason 4 If u need any other data please don't hesitate to ask and all thoughts on the subject are welcome. |

Well , i can remeber an issue on my own soundcard ... (not running ASIO4ALL though ... , but the build in asio drivers from soundblaster ...) I do watch tv on my PC as well , and sometimes i just wanna see whats on , also when i'm playin with reason ... As soon as i run Reason , the sound from my TV fades away , and is overruled by the ASIO driver ... , so my guess is that a soundcard can only run on 1 driver ... (TV card runs on Direct X ) (No im not an PC expert or something .. , am just thinkin along .. :P) Greetzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Remy aka IGNORED |
