Have you tried changing the lantency compensation? Preferences> audio> buffer size (here, you can reduce the number of samples, but the sound quality gets down too) Preferences>audio> Latency compensation. here, you set the delay compensation. I never have to set this options in reason but in other audio recorder apps. In fact, i guess this problem appears only in older computers that processor is low. doesn't your case? Hi Darbo, thanks for replying. Well I'm running a intel core 2 duo e6300, 512 ddr2 pc4200. so ya its pretty new. do you think I might need more memory?

I had another question I'm using my onboard sound, would that have anything to do it?

Hi, I use Reason 2.5 rewired into Protools 6.9 obviously with the MBox 1. I get a little latency when recording thro monitors, but not a problem with headphones. I think using onboard sound is going to tax your CPU a little anyhow, so maybe get an external interface/sound driver.
