| I have a problem. I start up Cubase SX 3 and then use Reason in ReWire Mode. I make a MIDI track in Cubase. For this track I use my input as my Bome's Virtual Keyboard and my output as the device I want to use in reason. Everytime I hit a note on my keyboard I see the input showing on the individual track, but I hear no sound. And Yes I'm putting the midi track on "monitor" yet still nothing. When I use the built-in virtual instruments that are in Cubase I can use them just fine, but when I try to put the output of the MIDI track to a reason device I hear nothing. Also, when reason isn't in rewire I can use the virtual keyboard just fine so the keyboard does work with Reason just not when its in ReWire with Cubase. Can anyone give me some helpful information? Your Help is appreciated. Thanks. _SG_ |

I've gotten it to work but I don't know if it's the best way to do it. Anyway for those interested and may have this problem this is what I did. 1.Start up Cubase SX and then reason. 2. Go to Devices>Reason> Then click the icon on the far right of Mix L and Mix R (when you click either one they will both highlight). 3. To pick a device thats in your reason program go to Project>Add Track>MIDI 4. Then for that MIDI track's output select the reason device you wish to use it should work then, it did for me. Hope this helped you as much as it helped me. *If anyone does this and has a slight delay when they press on the keyboard after they've chosen they're device in cubase from reason please tell me as I'm having that too. Thanks. _SG_ |
