Okay, listen up!

I got this cd with reason 4 from a good friend. smacked it in my mac, mounted the files so the little cd-icon appeared on the desktop... and then i layed it in applications and when i now run it, it asks for freakin Reason 4 dvd???? I DONT GET IT!

I hope you can help, im a reason addict!!!!!!!!!

well I'm not sure about macs but I'm pretty sure that with Windows there are 2 steps to installing and both require the disc to be in. On another note, if you are using a burnt/pirated copy this could be the issue. Finally one last thing, I know for sure this error would occur if your friend did not give you the original install disc and just copied his Reason program folder onto a disc.
