Default Snow Leopard

I have today changed my boot drive to a 1TB version after my original failed. I
have upgraded to Snow Leopard and am re-installing all my software. No problems with Logic 9 but not able to re-install Reason. On my previous drive I was using Reason 2.5 upgraded to 4. Now when I try to install Reason 2.5 I get as far as The Orkestor disk and it tells me it is faulty. It is as new and only been used for the initial installation and kept boxed ever since. I was wondering if this might be a Snow Leopard problem?
