This is boggling me... for a while now, I have been using the maelstrom as a filter, to enhance/warp/alter instruments such as drums and synths. It's been working fine and I've been able to pump out mp3s with everything intact. For some reason, after making my new song a WAV file and importing it into reason... the filter/effect on the piano DISAPPEARS. How is it not static after exporting!? This is really weird. It plays fine as a WAV in quicktime... but as soon as I place the track into itunes (so that I can make it an mp3), the filter just vanishes! I have everything connected the same exact way as I always do. I use the Audio Merger/Splitter to merge the instruments (right now it's NN-XT piano with a maelstrom polysynth filter) and then add a scream/advanced reverb on top of that. I also notice that the filter/effect sometimes disappears while I'm working on the RNS file... but when I close and re-open the file (saved or not), it's back to normal. Perhaps it's the actual maelstrom filter I'm using ("Dreamsong" in the Polysynths). Anyone familiar with this issue?
