Question Reason 4 - Matrix sound problem (NEW)

Hey there, that's my first post here (not boasting ) ... I attached a screen of the front side of my Devices so you can see what I'm talking about. Here is how are my devices connected:Matrix connected with Thor, Thor connected with the mixer and the ReDrum with the mixer.... I made my patterns with matrix and i sent them to track...the problem is that when i play my track i hear my redrum beats but when it comes up to the matrix patterns they are not played...where shall i put them,or what should i do ?? Ask for more info if needed! Thanks!

Try deactivating the matrix and the pattern section of the redrum, so that only the notes of the sequencer tracks are played. Otherwise the sequencer track notes and the pattern notes would be played together.

Does the Thor play anything, when you play the song while the matrix pattern is activated? (like in the screenshot)
And does the "note on" light of the Thor light up, when the Matrix is turned off and the sequencer notes start?

To both of your questions no...i tried starting a new project but i can't figure out what's so tricky in this matrix..i made a simple redrum beat and a cool matrix pattern, and when i press the "copy pattern to track"button , the pattern goes in the track section of the redrum and when i play the track it doesn't play the matrix sound but the redrum sound with the matrix pattern...if i move the pattern up it isn't played anymore..but i can't move this pattern in the matrix section...
And i can't figure out do i have to let the Run button on when i play my track oh i should stop them, because if i let Run button highlighted there are doubled sounds coming from the speakers..

Well , there's another way to achief your goal ...

Why dont you "just" automate the matrix patterns ?

(rightclick on the nummerical keys on the matrix , choose "edit automation ... , then draw in the patterns by choosing the corresponding pattern numbers ...You can choose which pattern to draw on the top of the sequencer (pulldown menu))

Ive added a picture , to show you what i mean ...

Greetzzzzz

i don't know if im so stupid but i don't know what's the purpose of that automation and i don't know how to use it ;p when i pressed Edit Automation , a second line appears in the matrix section down on the track line...

Thumbs down Does your cat own you

See how many yes answers apply to you. ? Do you select your friends based on how well your cats like them?? Does your desire to collect cats intensify during times of stress?? Do you buy more than 50 pounds of cat litter a month?? Do you think it?s cute when your cat swings on your drapes or licks your butter?? Do you admit to non-cat owners how many cats you really have?? Do you sleep in the same position all night because it annoys your cats when you move?? Do you kiss your cat on the whiskers?? Do you feed your cat tidbits from the table with your fork?? Does your cat sleep on your head?? Do you like it?? Do you have more than four opened but rejected cans of cat food in the refrigerator?? Do you watch bad TV because the cat is sleeping on the remote?? Will you stand at the open door indefinitely in the freezing rain while your cat sniffs the door, deciding whether to go out or come in?? Would you rather spend a night at home with your cat than go out on a bad date?? Do you put off making the bed until the cat gets up?? Do you give your cat presents and a stocking at Christmas?

Default matrix

are ye sure your putting the matrix onto the right sequencer line ? when you copy it to sequencer ?

can someone tell me the advantage of dividing your redrum into different channels ? ie snare = one channel . bass drum another etc .?
i know its handy for fx , but does it make the sound any clearer or better ?
