| Then i load it into the drex player and click on the small 'pattern to track' button which lays all the vocals down in there individual note lanes. But when i play the vocals in the sequencer there is a small gap in the vocals as it changes through the various vocal sections. how do i correct this so that when i hit play on the sequencer it will play through the vocals and come out perfectly with no gaps etc??? I hope this makes sense |

Well ... i think it depends on what BPM the sample is recorded in ... , lets say if the sample is recorded in 120bpm , and you will set your project on 100 , there will always be a gap when using rex. (Cos Reason doesnt timestrech ....) My only advise would be on this moment , build a project in Reason , write down (or remember) the speed of the project ... (BPM) Put the sample in a program who is capable to timestrech ... (Cubase ? , Protools ?) , and render the sample with the speed set in Reason ... Then re-rex that file , and all should be ok , i think (I dont use this method myself yet ... cos i never made me a track with full vocals over the complete song ...) I do hope it will work , otherwise i would look like an complete @ss ... lol Greetzzzzzzzz Remy aka SCEZ |
