| I'm fairly new to reason, and definitely new to reCycle. I understand pretty much how to use reCycle, but some of my samples have no zero crossing points. Even at highest sensitivity it is not locating slices correctly, and if I try to draw in my slices where I believe they should be, the loop gets a "swing" feel to it when sped up, and is just as bad slowed down. I mainly have this problem when trying to sample string parts and such from classical music, as well as some other clips. Anyone have any ideas on how I could fix this? Thanks |

I'm not sure about what you mean when its not locating your slices correctly, I've had no problems with that. But as for the "swing" feeling I think I know what you mean by that, have you tried messing with the release envelope on the dr rex device?

Yeah, I've tried that, and messing with the attack/release in reCycle too. I think the problem is just that the music is so full, but with no real "peaks" on the beats or anything. Maybe it's impossible :/ lol
