Default Change sequencer track with midi

Hi,
I have been getting really into Reason lately and have just one quick question. I am on version 4 and have a CME UF-60, Behringer BCR-2000, M-Audio Axiom 25, and DJM-800 on a macbook pro running leopard. Is there a way I can switch the sequencer channel without touching my computer? Basically, that little red button on each instrument, can I change which one is pressed without touching my computer?
thanks
joeljar

Hi

before i say , "yes you can do that" , i will have to check it first ... , as far i can remember (I can be wrong due to the fact i had a party yesterday , my brains aint working the full 100% yet ... lol) , my BCF2000 can change "instruments" on the sequencer ...

But my BCF aint @ home now , but @ my friends "studio"

When im @ home tonite , i will check it out for you ...

Thanks much! I'm looking forward to it. I feel like there must be a way using either profiles or the encoder groups at the top.

It can be done, in v.3 anyway.

1) Highlight one of the buttons (red dot)
2) Go to options on the top toolbar
3) Choose Addition Remote Overrides
4) Choose Target Next Track and select Edit
5) In Edit Remote Override Mapping, click the "learn" box
6) Now, move any controller on your keyboard-You'll see a green led
7) Move the controller and you should see the track selections move

Now do the same thing (steps 1-7) except choose "Previous Track" in the Additional Overrides Window. And of course, don't choose the same controller on your keyboard or you will overwrite the first edit.

You are most welcome. Seems like I learned this from Titan.

I believe, step 1 is unnessesary. You can set "next track" and "previous track" with opening the "additional remote overrides" windows only one time.

Igoa, You're probably right. I wasn't sure about step one, but I figured it wouldn't hurt. Thanks.
