| I have tried to set up an input keyboard for use with Reason. In Reason preferences on the midi tab it shows MPU-401 which is a reference to my sound card I think. Reason doesnt seem to pick up my keyboard. I have selected the 'In' column next to the instrument I created in Reason but nothing shows up and no sound can be heard. If it matters the sound card Im using is a Genius sound maker 4.1. Im using the midi connector on the sound card to connect to my keyboard. Please help.. Im going nuts. Thankyou. |

Go to: Edit -> Preferences -> Control surfaces and keyboards, and choose your midi controller from that list or you can press "Auto-detect surfaces", next go to the "Advanced MIDI" tab in the menu, and choose your controller port. ..and im pretty sure you will get it to work |
