I wonder if this is possible? also the audio output from external sources, can you capture it into reason? if not, what would be a good way to go about this?

No it's not possible.

And best way to use external audio is to capture it as a sample and load into NNXT or NN19.

Depends what you mean. You can 'control' external analog gear via a MIDI > CV interface.

yeah thats what i meant, to use reason sequencer for midi on external gear

You can control Reason with an external MIDI Device (controller).
You cannot let Reason control any external MIDI Devices (like synths or samplers).
