Reason is midi only. You can't make a mp3 or wav file using Reason. You can, however, load a mp3 into Reason once it's already recorded. To load using nn-xt, just open up the file and hold down a key on your keyboard.

What you really need is a daw (digital audio workstation) system. If you load an mp3 into Reason, it is one continuous file. You cannot do much with it, but with a daw, you can do your audio and then rewire it with Reason. Do a google on the many types of daw's. I can't recommend one because I rarely use it. I do have one called Sonar, but don't use it. There may be some free ones. Seems like "Audacity" might be free. Google that one.

Gruss Got Fox - Jet ... (dont expect me to do more in German , thats the only thing i know hehe)

But what Joe allready said , you probably are looking for a "DAW" , who is able to "rewire" ...

I do use Reaper from time to time on my friend's system ... , with this we are able to play and record on reaper (with Reason4 in rewire and Guitar Rig 3 as VST) , works like a charm ! , and above all , Reaper can load mp3 as well ...

(reaper :http://www.reaper.fm/ )

But what i also would like to notice : Reason cant handle mp3 ... ! (Only when converted to wav )

Greetzzzzzzzzzzz
