I'm working on some patches for an upcoming sample library, "Groove Bias", a collection of vintage acoustic drum sounds recorded in an old-school style. I initially programmed all the patches in Kontakt 2 and am in the process of converting them over to NN-XT, making combis manually, etc. However, I'm having a frustrating problem where NN-XT's alternation feature just... doesn't seem to work, or rather, only works when it feels like it.

Look at the following image. These two patches are, as far as I can tell, identical. Somehow, the one on the right has working alternations. I had been messing with it for a few minutes, just turning knobs on and off, and finally it worked - but I don't remember what specifically I did, just the last step of turning the ALT knob off then on again.

On the other hand, the patch on the LEFT has no working alternation despite the fact that it is set up properly.
