i would just like to know that if any of you got a drum loop in your head and when you go to lay it down its not long enough or is to long what do you do?

1. Change the bars? e.g 4 to 3
2. Change the whole loop?
3. Add more or less sounds to the loop to try make it complete?
4. Other?

I am guessing you are talking about the redrum machine..
If it is not long enough (or too long) you just change the pattern length on the redrum in the desired steps..
I thing that is what you are asking for, let me know if I am correct..
