| A family member who used to record music gave me their copy of Reason 4. I installed it. Later I connected my keyboard (Yamaha PSR-275) to my computer with a M-Audio Uno USB (MIDI connector). I had used the keyboard and the connector before with another program (FL demo edition) on my old laptop (died of old age); so I knew that they were compatible. Reason recognizes that I have a keyboard connected; but when I try to play something (like an instrument or a synthesizer) Reason will hold the first note I play for about 10 seconds ignoring any notes that come after it. It doesn't matter if I let go; the note will still hold. After 10 seconds I will hit another key and then that key will be held for 10 seconds...... etc. Does anyone know what is wrong ? I have tried the manual, the newest drivers, etc. thank you, Eric edit; I found it hard to explain my problem. If you don't understand I will try explaining it differently. |

What processor are you using on Reason? Does it do that with all, or just one? One thing that you can check is the release time on the Reason sequencer. Maybe it's set for max release. Joe |
