Default Please help a noob.

Can anyone help me find out how to put Clisando onto the strings in reason please. I'm a complete noob here guys.
And is it possible to get similar effects from horns and other instruments?

You mean Glissando? With a "G?" Why not set up a seperate track of strings and just slide your finger on the keyboard really fast so that it will sound as one. Or, you could set up a matrix to do this. I guess this is what you want. Maybe try and be more specific

Haha yeah i did mean Glissando, sorry about that. I niether have a key board nor the money to buy one, so i guess the Matrix is my option. I just want to get smoother transitions between notes and and be able to program less stagnant lines.

Are there tutorials for using the Matrix? Thanks for the help mate.

You know there is a free virtual keyboard that you can play with the mouse or use your computer keyboard. It's called Bomes Mouse Keyboard. Do a google and you'll find it. There is even someplace (google again) that tells you how to set it up for Reason.

The matrix is very easy to use. Open up a sequencer like maybe the nn-xt, and then open up a matrix. It will be just below the nn-xt. Now, select a voice for the nn-xt, strings, bass or whatever. Now move the bottom bars around (up) on the matrix. It will play whatever notes you selected. You can play around with it and get the idea. There are a lot of tutorials on youtube for Reason.

Where are you located? Maybe I can help find you a keyboard.
