| I am performing at a concert, and the intro which is about a minute will be played from Reason. How would I go about doing this? How would my laptop get connected to the mixerboard? Should I play the intro from REASON or export it as a wave file and play the wave file from like windows media player? While we're at it, is there anyway to isolate a click track on reason to the drummer without the front of the house hearing it. For example, I'll sequence a song on reason and disable the bass guitar / drum track. Thanks in advance ! |

The cheapest solution would be, to pan the song and the click fully to the left / right (song left, click right). Now you could use a Y-adapter cable to route the left side to the mixer and the right side to the drummer monitoring. I cannot say, which jacks exactly you need. Depends on the house PA and your monitoring system and so on.
