I can only answer this Q with one answer ... Yes ! The "loop" button can be assigned to a button/controllerknob , i do own a Behringer BCF2000 , and i have the "loop" button assigned to one of his buttons (on/off) So i can imagine with a program like "Bome's virtual KB" you should be able to assign it to your pc's Key's ... (Thats one of the best parts of Reason .. every knob init can be controlled through a midi-controller ... ) Greetzzzzzzzzz Remy aka SCEZ (I do hope i answered your Question ... , cos my English aint as good as my Swahili ...lol) (Just right-click the lill button ... and choose "Edit Remote Override mapping" to assign a button on your Keyboard ...) One cool thing you could do to set the loop left and right indicators faster, is to use the key cmd's ctrl+click to set the left indicator and click where you want the left indicator to be placed and the same for the right indicator with the alt+click key to set the right indicator, in the time line up in the sequencer window, make it quantize to bar then you can quickly set the loop where you want, go to the end of track and set the the right indicator with the alt+click at the end if you wanna make it to continue to the end.

I believe you can map the loop on/off function to a key on your laptop very easily. I'm not sure about the Mac version but on my PC, if I mouse over the loop on/off button, right click and select "edit keyboard control mapping" I can assign that function to any key.
