Hey guys,

Well, I have Reason 4.0 and a Yamaha DGX-300 and I have some money coming in on Thursday that I'd like to use towards the purchase of this item:



I currently use Bome Virtual Keyboard but I want to connect my keyboard using this device and hope that Reason detects it and allows me to use it as a controller. These are the inputs behind my Keyboard:




Let me reiterate my question, Will this cable allow me to use my DGX-300 as a midi controller?

So obsolete with current technology, I just use it to record vocals /shrug

You can try, if reason don't detect, try to use any similar Yamaha or other device in the list, check the support on propellerhead's site if it is compatible and possible.

That setup shoul work, because reason is detecting the midi to usb cable not the actual midi device.

I have that exact midi cable and it works with reason
