| I started out with fruity loops first, and when i wanted to sample something there i could easily select the time. So when i wanted a loop to last 1 bar i just hit select 1 bar in FL and that's it. But now I'm usin recycle and reason and i don't get it right. I counted 2 bars in recycle and set the bpm in reason to the exact same time but when i play the clicks/metronome with it I notice that it's offbeat all the time. So i streched my loop using recycle and many slices (since i noticed the more slices u use the more accurate the sample's being streched). But after i set my tempo to the new BPM it's still offbeat. Isn't there any easier way to get my loops and samples workin right in time? Any sampler with an easier to use time strech function or somethin.? greeeetz |

I have the same problem. I get the slice and everything perfect, but I have to work the tempo of my song around the sample even though the time signature and bars are set properly. Any help ? |

You need to make sure your loop has a perfect start and end point in recycle and that you set the beats and bars amount to the correct amount. Also remember that if there is a groove to the beat this might not sit with another part with a different groove. You could always match them using regroove.
