| Is it possible to change whats coming out of the redrum 4/8/or really any amount of bars later? Is there a way to see/edit whats coming from the redrum in the area where you normally see what your instruments have played? Last edited by kylemacabre; February 1st, 2009 at 20:21. |

Make sure your redrum track is selected and then right click the redrum and press "copy pattern to track"

U see that panel with 1234, 5678, ABCE on it? If you automate those you'll have plenty to go on. If not you can right click on the pattern and send it to your track, it will be pasted between you left and right markers only. It's much easier to show you than you try to explain it, I suggest you go to youtube and type redrum in the search. |

if you want to select where the redrum plays thru the song, the ways i use is either copy pattern to track - but once it has been copied to the track clear the pattern from the redrum otherwise it will play every time you press play on the track... or use the numbered pattern presets to make alternative patterns to use during your track, once all made, hit record and click the sequence number you wish to use, note when you hit the number it will finish playing the current 16 bars being played, alternatively use the automation lane to choose which pattern you wish to play at that time... if im making sense?? |
