In other programs, when you click a note in the piano roll grid (not on the piano roll keys themselves), you can usually hear the note as you move it. And also, when you place it. Reason 4.0.1 doesn't seem to do this. Did Propellerheads remove this functionality or did Reason never have it?

it's not a feature in reason 3, you can set a loop and hit play tho, so it's not a big problem is it?

Yes, I too miss that feature. I have seen a lots of Reason 4 videos, but did not notice this in any of them, so I guess, Reason does not have it (or maybe there is some secret setting or key combination?)

No, I'm pretty certain that this wasn't programmed into 4 sorry.
