Hello all. I am relatively new to reason. Maybe a year now. This is my first home setup and I have had a singular issue with it.

I'm recording live audio through an AI and MIDI data through a PCR 500. Both connect to my computer through USB 2.0 ports. I run Reason 4.0, Guitar Rig 3, and Adobe Audition as my recording software.

As I play notes under any of the devices, they come out fine. Some of the sounds never release, but that is something that I'm sure I can figure out on my own through settings and choosing my device more specifically to what I am trying to record. It may be related to my problem, though. My problem is that I can hear that the MIDI input is coming out fully during the recording or just general play. However, when I go back to replay the notes in the sequencer, they all come out "clipped." By this, I mean that I enter a note, it appears to be recording, say I play another few notes, they all come out fine, and then when I replay a note, it cuts off all recorded sound to just a blip right when I first hit the note. It seems strange that the notes are only shut off or shortened when I play another note in the same note lane.

I don't think it's my keyboard settings, but it might be. I've tried adjusting aftertouch settings, but I don't think that's it. I don't think it's some kind of CPU thing, but it might be. The demo song plays completely, but does not allow me to record correctly. If anybody could help me, that would be great. Thanks in advance.
