Default putting in pattern on redrum?

im confused. i've made a track and want to add drums to it, added the first drum bit in bank A pattern 1 and it lasts 60 steps and after that i want that one not to repeat itself and i can put the next bit in bank A pattern 2 to play after that, any idea how i do that? because if bank A pattern 1 repeats it's out of time with the track i've got.

Default

60 steps is a very strange number for pattern length. I guess, there's some thing not in time with your pattern. But anyway: Programming pattern changes in your song can be done in 2 ways:
1. Automate the pattern selection (see manual or search the forum for automation)
2. copy patterns to sequencer track and arrange the clips in the sequencer (first use the loop locators in the sequencer to define the range where the pattern should be copied to. then select the redrum track (if it isn't already). then right click into the pattern section of redrum and select "copy pattern to track". repeat these steps for every pattern)
