| I'm a relatively inexperienced reason user but have just been asked to play synth in an R&B band. I'm having a bit of difficulty nailing the synth sound in that Estelle song, American boy. I'm using Reason 4.0 and the closest thing I have found is the Growling Lead on the thor synth which sounds good but when I listen to the original it sounds more throaty and or something. Can anyone help? |

After a bit of toying around, i would say adding a Scream with the sound set to "scream" would get you even closer to the "ballsiness" of the tone. what'd i'd like to grab is that intro synth part. Shit is hot! |
