Hi i have a m audio keyboard with midi out, i recently just got a synth module can i hook up the midi out with the midi in on the module and play the sounds into reason or is there a different way?.

unless your soundcard has a midi in port (i'm not even sure you can do it that way) the only way that you can connect midi devices to reason is through usb. so yes, you would be able to connect your keyboard to a synth module, but if your module doesn't support USB-out you'll need to get a MIDI-USB adapter, which can be incompatible... I think some other members have good advice for these.

thanks but the module was incompatible with reason so i haved managed to pick up some nice sample cds.
