| I have a problem with my new midi-interface. It is a UM-1 and it looks like it is not detected by Reason 3. "Autodetect surface" only detect the internal soundcard. What more is required to make it identifie my keyboard? It was a while ago since I played around with midi but here is the preparations: -Drivers successfully installed fro UM-1. - cable connected: midi out to midi out (and midi in to midi in) and usb connected to computer. - Midi set to "on" keyboard - Midi transmit channel 10 on keyboard - Reason MIDI Device, channel 10 dedicated to i.e. NN-XT No indication from Reason that it receives midisignals. Is there maby some other way to verify that the computer receives midisignals? |

Thank you! It was the driver that wasn't properly installed. Now it is working fine. However there is a small delay that is very enoying. I have given priority for background services. Something more one can do? |

Have you tried messing with the buffering settings? If that doesnt work you can try asio drivers, that may also reduce latency by alot. http://www.asio4all.com |
