Certianly in my experience with audio, I've never encountered some magic eq plug that can completely take out the drums, or the vocals, or whatever instrument. So there's just no magic setting to get rid of drums really, you'll never really be able to get completely rid of any instrument in a sample (except maybe basslines). But you can get a little creative, eq the best you can then try to cover it up with your drums or other instruments.

Do you have Recycle? Audacity is a free version of Recycle that is an audio editing software.. It has more advanced EQ's and noise gates and such that you can mess with to try to drown out the drums.. The thing you have to realize is every sound has a frequency, and if you take out a certain frequency, or frequency range then more than one thing could possibly be affected by the change.. Like SG said, there really isn't any way to take out one particular instrument in a track unless you yourself recorded it piece by piece. I typically take samples from songs that can be chopped up a bit to make it to where i can lay my own drums over it and no one can really tell.. It's really an art, and takes a lot of time to figure out your own way of doing it you know.?
