| i've been working with pro tools for about 3 years and i'm familiar enough with it to serve my purposes... and everything was fairly self explanatory when it came to using reason, until i started fiddling around with matrix. i can't get any sound out of it. it's plugged into the subtractor (which works fine on its own) and all the other functions of reason, as far as i can tell, are working great. i'm having a blast, except for this one snag. i can't seem to find any advice online dealing with this specific problem, which makes me think i'm missing something really obvious. does it have anything to do with the fact that it's not the full version? any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks! |

I think there's a device limit in reason adapted, but I dont know if that matters. Have you tried loading up only a subtractor and matrix device? Reason adapted has some real screwy limatations, but if they include the matrix device in adapted, that means you must be able to use it, or at least one would think so lol. If the matrix's gate cv and note cv is routed correctly to the subtractor's gate and cv then everything should work. |
