| So my question is how do i get the Kick/Bass sound that they have in this song!!??!!?? Either one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IwUapUWkHJA http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6N3H6X6KVU its right there as the song starts, and throughout the song!!!!! My intuition is taking a drum twice and tweaking on of them or is there other techniques that can be taking too do this?!?!?!?!? The help would be greatly appreciated Last edited by ltrain400; December 11th, 2008 at 16:13. |

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about the pitch down effect at the end of the bar? If so that's easy just automate a downwards slant for the pitch parameter in whatever device you're using. Sorry if I misunderstood your question. |

well that is helpful info, but i meant how the bass hits are pitched really.... is it the same bass/kick(dont know what too cal it) or is it the same bass/kick but pitched differently!!! And what you were talking about is that done with the actual device or is it done with the sequencer??? |

Basically Sounds like a simple tom drum sample at different pitches. Just automate the pitch parameter on your drum sound, or load in the same sample multiple and pitch each seperately then use it in your pattern. And by devices I meant whatever you're using to play back your samples, because in reason you can use the nn19, redrum, and nnxt to play back samples. Hopefully I answered your question lol. |
