Default Rewiring question

Hey guys, i was just wondering, if i use a dr. rex (or an pattern based utility) in reason and use the to track function and i use that rewired into cubase (or any other sequencer program) why is it that it wont record the pattern on cubase? how do I go about doing this?

The to track function on the dr rex places the midi notes onto the track in reason, not cubase.

if you want the midi notes in cubase you will have to export the midi file and then open the midi file in cubase
