Default MPD 24 for Electro/Dance/Garage

Would you recommend an MPD 24 for up-tempo style music?

Most the video's on YouTube people are using them with Reason to create hip-hop. I do create old skool hip hop, but the majority of what I do is up-tempo.

Also, what's the main difference between the 24 and the 32? The 32 looks nice, but just means I'd have to blow all my cash on it.

Well as far as the uptempo thing, it really comes down to if you like to hit the pads to lay down your drums, samples or whatever. So if you creating music that way, then sure it'll do you fine.

As far as the differences between the 24 and 32.

MPD24:
* 16 velocity and pressure-sensitive, genuine MPC pads
* 4 selectable pad banks for a total of 64 pads
* 6 assignable Faders for transmitting MIDI Control Change data
* 8 assignable 360° knobs
* REW , FF, STOP PLAY and REC buttons that transmit MMC (MIDI Machine Control) messages to DAW/Sequencing applications
* Backlit, easy to read LCD display
* MIDI and/or USB operation
* USB powered (or powered via optional AC adaptor)
* Included Editor Librarian software (Mac and PC )
* MPC 16 Level and Full Level feature
* Includes a customized version of Fxpansion's BFD Lite

MPD32:
* MIDI synced note-repeat with MPC swing
* 16 full-sized, genuine MPC pads with velocity and pressure-sensitive response
* Assignable switches, sliders and endless knobs for a total of 72 controllers
* 2 assignable Foot Switch inputs
* 1 assignable Foot Pedal controller input
* Large, easy-to-read custom LCD display
* 30 user-definable Presets for various DAW and software applications

Those were grabbed from the akaipro site.
