I would like to know if I can, in the middle of a reason 3 song, lower the tempo and change the signature for example from 5/4 to 7/8, and than go back again to the previous setting of 5/4 and faster tempo?

No, not really. They put it in version 4 cos it was one of the most commonly moaned about missing feature.

Thanks. I went through a lot of trouble to figure out how to do it, when it actually couldn't be done.

Yeah, it's in reason 4 only, although if you dont want to purchase 4 you can always rewire reason to a DAW and automate temp/time sig in that DAW
