Just by seeing the participation in the off topic thread about Obama kind of shows that we all on here have a lot more to talk about than just Reason hehe.. Not necessarily politics.. but Anything...
Maybe there could be an off topic Section in addition to the Reason section...
I think it would keep people on the site more often, and promote more conversation.. Sharing links, pics, videos, music interests, other hobbies.. etc...

Rules of course would be a must.. No bashing or extreme cussing or any of that. You know, the norm...

Two things that should not be up for discussion on a forum like this are politics and religion.

I do agree.. but usually on a forum, when a rule is set stating no bashing, and keep it clean, that pretty much throws out the idea of political and religious differences being discussed lol... But as long as an admin sets strict guidelines, I don't see there being any problems...
