Myself and a friend have recorded some tracks on reason and want to record this into an Ableton Live track to add guitars etc. This is usually simple to do as I have Ableton Live and Reason on my PC and I just set Reason as an input. The problem is that the Reason tracks were done on his Mac and he doesn’t have Ableton Live.

Is there a way of synchronizing these two machines to record in time?

Can we export the Mac Reason tracks so I can load them in my version of Reason?

Will we have to record or save the Reason tracks as audio?

Do we need to purchase Ableton for the Mac?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey, as SG said before (I'm almost certain) Reason 4 rsn files are cross-platform, you could just put his rnsfiles onto the pc.
