Learn how to use Attack, Decay, Sustain, Release, Visualise the curve. Attack - the time it takes for the noise to fade in. Decay - the time it takes for the noise to peak. Sustain - the constant at which the note is held while you press down on the key. Release - the time it takes for it to shut up. If you keep these values low you get beeps, if you turn them up you get a slow drawn out curvey noise. Hope that makes sense. |

Makes a lot of sense. I'll definitely try this out. Thanks so much!

aww bless ya. If you want to learn some very handy tips and tricks I can highly recommend a guy on Youtube called 'Ace Sphincter'. He goes through lots of the basics in reason and some pretty clever advanced stuff too. He's pretty easy to understand and did well enough with his music to move from the states to New Zealand - Jammy Sod. But I digress... check him out, he'll give you lot's to think about. |
