Default Key Shift

Hello,

I'm using an M-audio Oxygen 8 v2 with reason 4.

Everything seems to be working fine which i'm very pleased with. However the other day i was messing about, playing some melody and simultaneously jumping through octaves really fast with the octaver/transpose buttons.
When i went to play along to things i had already recorded, everything seems to be in a different key now, making things difficult to say the least (i'm not the most proficient musician).
Now it may well be something else that has caused this, but i assume it was the rapid transposing, maybe i hit something else accidentally?
Anyway, my question is, how can i return to the original key, i.e. so when i play the same keys it will play the same notes as i've already recorded.
Also might be worth noting that it is not an octave different it is about a 5th or so.
Also sorry for the probably really newbie question.

maybe you hit the semi key on your keyboard which raises or lowers everything a semitone?

Question

Unhappy stuck... Reason is out a Semitone when playing with Midi - Micro Korg

I have a micro korg which I am using as a midi keyboard within reason 3.0 When I play a C on the keyboard its out a semitone. So for example - B is actually C and so on. I have opened it up as a NN-19 with a grand piano sound. I have tried everything i can see on the NN19 that changes the key, but it doesnt seem to respond. When I play a note on the korg, forexample a C note - it knows it is a C and displays that as the note that is in the out put. I use reason to play with another musician, so recently noticed it is out. I have also played it into a tuner, which has told me its off. Most annoying! Can anyone tell me what this might be? Or how I can fix it? I have been looking all over the web and I have even looked in The Fast Guide to Propellerhead Reason book and there is nothing in there that I havent tried and it still isnt working? I dont know where to go with this problem?

Any help - greatly appreciated.

Lisa

Can you check, if the recieved MIDI note is recognized by Reason as the correct one? You could create a combinator, play some notes and watch the keyzone lane in the programmer. If it shows the wrong note, there must be something wrong with the korg or with the midi driver. If it shows the correct note, but it sounds like a wrong note, there might be a wrong setting in the preferences of Reason. There's an option called "master tune" on the "audio"-page. It must be set to 440Hz+0ct.
