Default Working With Long Samples

yea so ive got a sample which is just over 4minutes long, but every time you wanna listen to it you gotta play it from the start, ive tryed cutting it up in recyle but you can heard where its been cut when you play the track, is there anyway around this or have i just gotta keep playing it from the start im using reason 4

Just set your L and R markers to where you want to start and stop. Somebody tell me that this is not what he's asking.

Well I think one of the weak points of reason is it's audio editing features, it's just not best for those kinds of things. So yes since the midi triggers the audio file you'll need to always start from the beginning of the midi note that triggers your sample.

My advice is to read up on rewire if you dont already know about it. This way you'll be able use all the strong points of reason while rewiring it to a "DAW" that'll be more suitable for audio editing.

Reaper is great for this, it's licenses are cheap and it also has a non crippling trail.
