| i am thinking of getting Reason and use it with audio monitor speakers, but I am not sure how to do it.. I am using a Toshiba laptop (Vista), do I have to get a mixer and connect it to the laptop via USB or some adapter? will also be using a keyboard controller thanks for any help. Well if you have a laptop the best thing would be to probably get a portable usb or firewire audio interface to hook up your monitors to. Try looking at m audio's stuff, that's a good start. Firewire interfaces tend to be better because of how it transfers data in a constant stream. However firewire isn't usually standard on most machines, especially laptops. So if you are interested in going the firewire route get ready to purchase a expresscard to firewire or something similar to that for your laptop. |
