| How do you only record in specific measures? Say I recorded a 24 bar piano part. It's all great except measures 8 through 10. Is there a way I can isolate those measures to rerecord while leaving the surrounding bars unaffected? This is different from simply over dubbing. Thanks for your help guys. |

I didn't fully understand your question but I think I know what you mean... try using the razor cut tool to divide your note groups.

Another thing to try is to erase/delete the measures that you don't like and rerecord them over. When you rerecord over something you can set it to add only the notes that are played. In other words, it won't erase anything and won't pick up a signal until you play a note. Joe |
