Default Whoosh Transition Sound

Hey guys

I'm hard at work getting some video editing done for the visuals section of my site ( Coming Soon ). I'm lookin 4 a nice whoosh sound that I can use for speedy "fly by" slide transitions in between sketches and bits.

Is there a sample somewhere in Reason 4's HUGE bank? Or can I create one? If so how?

I've checked out the combinator's urban assault patch already and its not what I'm lookin 4 cos of the reverb on some of the samples. Can anyone help?

pls... would be greatly appreciated...

Can you provide an example from a video of what you're referring to precisely? If I am understanding you correctly then I think a good woosh sound could probably just entail you recording yourself doing a quick "woosh" with the mouth using a DAW and then using that in Rex or nn-19.

You can't just tell us you need a "whoosh" sound, you need to give us an example :/

You can get some nice - whooosh sounds using the noise osc on the thor.

give it a bit of attack and set the filter to match that rate so you get the sound filtering as it attacks.

tweek and ad verb

also reversing very verby samples will sound great.
